THANK YOU! PDF Print E-mail

Thank you for electing me to be your Republican candidate for Will County Circuit Court Judge. My opponents in the primary were principled, respectable and extremely capable, so winning was indeed a great honor.

But the work is for naught without winning the general election on November 2nd. The message of candidates for Circuit Court Judge can sometimes get garbled and the Will County races are no exception. I am running in Sub-circuit 5 (all of Frankfort Township, Homer Township and New Lenox Townships) on Ballot “B.” There are other judicial races that are for different Sub-Circuits or are county-wide.

The important message is that if you want a judge who has 30 years of legal experience handling virtually nearly every type of case, who is well-respected by the bar and bench, who has the highest ratings for legal abilities and ethics from a non-partisan rating service and who is qualified to be judge by members of the l ocal bar associations, then I respectfully urge you to vote for me.

Please e-mail or telephone me with any questions or requests to speak to your group or organization about my candidacy. Thank you again for trusting me to be your Republican candidate for Will County Circuit Court Judge.

Endorsement for judge PDF Print E-mail

Recently, Ray Rossi was the only candidate to win endorsement for judge, despite there being two judicial openings in the 5th sub-circuit races and a county-wide judicial race.  Rossi garnered unanimous support from the Frankfort Township Executive Committee and then unanimous support from the elected and appointed committeemen at the meeting.

“This is a big win for our campaign and I am personally honored by the Frankfort Township Republican Organization’s endorsement,” said Rossi. “I want to thank Chairman Ed Ronkowski, the Executive Committee and the entire Frankfort Township Republican Organization.”  Cory Singer, a Will County Board Commissioner, Forest Preserve President and Frankfort Township Committeeman analyzed “In order to win on February 2nd, the judicial candidate must be able to win Frankfort Township and its communities of Mokena, Tinley Park, Frankfort Square and Frankfort.  This endorsement is a strong signal that those working in the precincts and in the know believe Ray is the candidate best suited for the job of Circuit Court Judge in Will County.”   “GOP primary voters are beginning to tune into this race and, as they do, they are embracing our campaign,” added Rossi.  “I continue to be encouraged and, frankly, humbled by the growing support. We will keep the fight and remain hopeful that more continue to join our ranks.”

Frankfort Township is home to more precincts(42) than that of the other two townships in the 5th judicial sub-circuit, New Lenox (30) and Homer (28). Frankfort Township is the only township of the three to endorse candidates for the February primary. Further information about the Ray Rossi for Judge campaign can be obtained at www.rossiforjudge.com.

Ray files Candidacy for Judge with over three times the required signatures PDF Print E-mail
Monday, 26 October 2009 00:00

Ray Rossi filed his Statement of Candidacy for Circuit Court Judge, Sub-circuit 5, Judgeship “B” and related documents with the State Board of Elections in Springfield on Monday morning at 8:00am. “I, along with many other state candidates was amazed at the strange atmosphere in standing in line prior to the 8:00am deadline imposed to be deemed a first or simultaneous first filed candidate,” said Ray Rossi. Although filings may be received through the close of business on October 30th, those who are standing in line at 8:00am on October 26 are eligible to be in a lottery for name placement on the February 2 ballot. “Although I was there hours early, I was still a block away from the entrance to the building, although by 8:00am, the line wrapped around some 4 blocks. All-in-all, the state Board of Election employees were very professional and helpful and once in the building, the process to file went quickly,” Ray stated.

Bob Mathews announced that the Committee to Elect Ray Rossi for Circuit Court Judge in Will County had a successful fundraiser. “The financial contributions are certainly important to get Ray’s messages out, but it was more noteworthy to see the broad support from so many nice people that know Ray. I had a great time meeting Ray’s friends. I had no idea of the wide degree of friends from all walks of life and communities that support Ray.”
